Dr Joseph Ierano returned from the United States and started practicing on 18 March, 1997, after completing his chiropractic studies, and began setting up his office, after locum tenens for Drs Dennis Richards in Tweed Heads, David Goodrich and Barry Kingi in Parramatta and Penrith. He is the longest serving Atlas Orthogonist in Australia.
He has had a practice in the Camden area since 1997, and also opened in Crows Nest, Mosman, York St Sydney, Health Care City Dubai, and now in Monterey (Brighton Le Sands), and Mount Annan (Camden, Narellen area).

- 1992 Anatomy Bachelor's Degree, University of New South Wales.
- 1996 Board Certified in Atlas Orthogonal (Atlanta, USA) technique procedures

- Trained in Impulse IQ "Neuromechanical" Adjusting Instrument and former occasional Australian instructor

- a 20 year member of the Chiropractors Association of Australia up until 2015, and served as President of the state NSW branch from 2012- 2014.
